At the mid of my quest for a great future, I nearly found what’s gonna make me wake up happy every morning…
As the missing link in the chain, I recently figured that my own “best job in the world” does not only have to be challenging, international, rewarding, and all of what I evoked here, but it has to be FUN. (Probably due to a personality matter, I think ;)
I realized it while I was thinking about my previous internships.
I remembered one in particular, and I asked me why this one was the one I enjoy the most. I found out that fun was actually my thrilling engine…
This is the moment I want to thank Boulie (a lot). Will understand who can ;)
Now that I know what I want, it’s just a matter of picking the right companies, and apply.
As you can imagine, I haven’t waited for you to tackle it ;)
I applied yesterday for what could be my greatest job in the world : intern within the international coms department at the global headquarter of a video game producer. One of the biggest and greatest…
It would be too long to tell you why it could the job that could make me thrive and thrill, and after all, you’re not the ones interested ;)
So yesterday, I sent carefully refined resume and covering letter (in English please),for this job.
I received the receipt immediately. Something that said : “if you haven’t received an answer within one month… blablabla”. That’s the moment of the application process where after having been excited to send your wonderful application for the job-of-your-dream, you feel down.
After all the efforts you put in writing the perfect covering letter, the exact matching resume, projecting yourself in your job-of-your-dreams, the receipt always recalls you that maybe, it won’t happen…
With that charming perspective in mind, I went on the balcony, and lighted a cig, and thought once again about how cool and exciting it could be to get this job.
Ten minutes after, back to my computer, I had a mail from the HR department , asking what were my availabilities for a phone interview. 10 minutes : checked on my mailbox.
10 minutes: That’s a good start for an application, and a hard to beat score, isn’t it? :D
So, I completed 50% of my quest for my own best job in the world, and will hopefully reach the 75% after 15.00, this afternoon.
I keep you up to date, and I see you soon, for the new swedish-parisian-on-the-return adventures!

Flattée…

Pour l’instant, c’est le flou artistique quant à mon retour sur Paris… Ça devrait se faire fin Aout, mais je n’ai pas encore acheté mon billet.
Je suis pas méga pressée en fait ;)
